Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.


Board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, internal medicine and critical care medicine- Dr. Shaoulian is a physician with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. He has been in practice of cardiology for the last 25 years.

After spending his childhood in Israel, Dr. Shaoulian attended preclinical medical college in Siena, Italy. He then attended medical school at Sackler school of medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He then moved to New York where he completed his residency in internal medicine and subsequently fellowship in cardiology. He was appointed director of Interventional Cardiology at Saint Vincent Hospital, where he was also involved in academics and teaching.

During his years of practice, Dr. Shaoulian has served as chief of cardiac catheterization in New York and in Rancho Mirage, CA. He has served as chief of cardiology at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach. He is a clinical professor of medicine, having taught at University of California, Irvine and New York Medical College.

Dr. Shaoulian has been involved in clinical research for the past 25 years, keeping him amidst the latest treatments and technologies. As such, he is able to offer his patients participation in studies involving advanced medications.

He has performed thousands of procedures including angioplasties, stent implantations, renal artery stent implantations and lower extremity stent implantations. He also holds multiple patents, for which his ideas and collaboration have helped design medical and cardiac devices on the market today.

Dr. Shaoulian resides in Newport Beach. He enjoys spending time with his twin sons. He has a significant interest in art and sculpts as a hobby.
